The Music Lives art case semi-concert grand piano is a one of a kind collector’s item. The design of this piano honours many genres of music including jazz, country, and rock ‘n roll. The piano was manufactured by the Hazelton Brothers of New York at the height of piano manufacturing in 1898. Hazelton pianos are highly regarded for their enormous sound yet delicate touch and were the choice of many artists of note at that time.

The “Music Lives” piano incorporates exquisite artistry and unsurpassed musical quality, resulting in a one-of-a-kind instrument. Master craftsmen at Moffatt Pianos created the piano’s exterior. The decorative piano case features rare Macassar ebony inlay while the pedal lyre incorporates two brass alto saxophones. The front legs are custom made electric acoustic F hole guitars, a clarinet acts as the lid prop, and the piano bench is a vintage amplifier. These components reflect a commitment to craftsmanship, innovation, and quality while paying homage to the rich diversity of music.
